The history of Angus Fire goes back over 200 years from the time when fire hose was made from riveted strips of leather to the present day when it is made from the latest in advanced rubber and textile technology.
In 1988 Angus Fire celebrated the 200 years of its manufacturing facility at Bentham in North Yorkshire. Local tradition has it that the sails of Admiral Nelson’s famous flagship HMS Victory were made at the original cotton mill at Bentham.

COOL FIRE VEHICLE & SKID OPTIONS
Cool Fire Vehicle & Skid Options are by far the preferred choice as it is modular, lightweight and simple to operate. Its light weight ensures quick deployment and recovery after operation.
The modularity and simplicity of the Cool Fire Vehicle & Skid Options means it can be customized to suite specific requirements and environments. It can be fitted to almost any size of vehicle from new build to a retrofit installation.
The choice of PTO powered or engine driven skid systems gives further flexibility in terms of deployment and vehicle choice. It can be skid mounted, retro-fitted to existing vehicles or designed into new vehicles. Cool fire can be supplied with an integrated power pack (with diesel or petrol engine) or run from a vehicle PTO.
HOSE RETRIEVAL SYSTEM
Angus Fire’s Fetch Hose Retrieval System is especially designed to transport and deploy Duraline Hi-Vol efficiently. Hose is loaded into flaking boxes that can carry up to 2 km of Duraline Hi-Vol. This method of transporting hose offers a low cost and simple deployment technique. The hose is simply drawn out of the boxes and lowered on to the ground.
ANGUS AP2000
The Angus AP2000 pump is a heavy duty portable fire or industrial pump that combines the benefits of high pressure firefighting performance with the ability to move large volumes of water continuously.

COOL FIRE LANCE
The Cool Fire Lance is the final delivery and command component of the CoolFire system. It is connected to the Hose/Umbilical through which it is supplied with water and electrical power and back through which it sends commands.
ANGUS AP800
The Angus AP800 pump is a light weight (99Kg when full with fuel, oil and battery) portable fire or industrial pump that combines the benefits of high pressure firefighting performance with an extremely compact design that will fit most fire tender lockers and leave room for a second pump or a Positive Pressure Fan.
BIPOD FOAM MONITORS
Angus Hi-Combat Portable Bipod Foam Monitors are lightweight, self-inducing portable low expansion foam monitors, which are easily deployed by two firemen.
COOL FIRE HOSE REEL
The Cool Fire Hose Reel sits between the Command Module and the Lance. Its role is to receive HP water (with or without abrasive) along with electrical signals to/from the lance and transfer them into the Hose/Umbilical. It also provides storage for the Hose/Umbilical.
COOL FIRE COMMAND MODULE
The Cool Fire Command Module sits between the HP (300 Bar) Pump and the Hose Reel and Umbilical to the Lance. Its role is to house and add abrasive to the water flow when required and to receive and send various commands to/from the HP Pump (and Engines when fitted) and the Lance.
COOL FIRE SYSTEM
The CoolFire system comprises an ergonomically designed dual action lance, high pressure hose and control wire connected to a Command Module.
RESPONDER 140 MODULE FOAM MONITOR UNIT
is a fully self-contained mobile foam monitor unit, which has been specifically developed for a fast response by a single person to fight fires.
