Bajaj is an automotive company founded on November 29, 1945 and that is 72 years by Jamnalal Bajaj. its headquarter is at Pune, India.

Bajaj main products are; motorcycles, three-wheeler vehicle and cars. As at mach, 2014, Bajaj has 9,119 employees.

The Bajaj Group is amongst the top 10 business houses in India. Its footprint stretches over a wide range of industries, spanning automobiles (two wheeler manufacturer and three wheeler manufacturer).

It is the world's largest manufacturer of 3-wheeler and accounts for almost 84% of India's three-wheeler exports. During the 2012-13, it sold approximately 480,000 three-wheelers which was 57% of the total market share in India. Out of these 480,000 three-wheeler, 53% were exported and remaining 47% were sold in India.

Bajaj company entered into a joint venture with Black & Decker Corporation, United States, for the manufacture and marketing of power tools, household appliances, and related accessories, through a separate company named Black & Decker Bajaj Private Limited in the year 1993-1994.
in 1998, Bajaj decided to expand by establishing a new manufacturing unit at chakan near pune and immediately commenced operations of manufacturing fans.

Black and Decker Bajaj became a full subsidiary of the company upon the acquisition, half of the shareholding from Black and Decker corporation, pursuant to which Black and Decker Bajaj was renamed Bajaj ventures limited.
