Everlast is a company which is synonymous with boxing, the company started as a swimwear manufacturer.

Everlast was founded in 1910 by a seventeen year old Jacob Golomb who happen to be the son of a tailor, he is a swimmer who wan not satisfied with swimsuits not lasting a month, this made him decide to make his own swimsuit line which he assured will last a year. Jacob Golomb proudly named his swimsuit line Everlast.

over the following years, Jacob Golomb transformed his company into a small retail store which carries a full line of sports equipment.

In 1917, a young boxer named Jack Dempsey introduced boxing to Golomb and the company. The boxer urged Jacob Golomb to make/construct a protective headgear that would last up to or more than 15 rounds of intense boxing training which he did.

Everlast became very popular when Dempsey the young boxer wore Golomb'S gloves, headgear other boxing materials in 1919 as he was announced the world heavy weight champion.

The management and shareholders of Active Apparel Group acquired the Everlast brand and boxing equipment on October 24, 2000. 

Everlast worldwide Inc. was acquired by UK based company brand holdings on September 20, 2007.

Today, Everlast is the world's leading manufacturer of boxing and fitness equipment including socks. Everlast is the brand of choice for generations of world champion professional athletes, built on a brand heritage of strength, dedication, individuality and authenticity.
