Moto Key
This feature essentially allows users to use the fingerprint scanner to sign in onto different applications. To get started with this feature, go to Moto in app tray and select Moto Key. Sign in with your Google or Lenovo account and follow the on-screen instructions. Once set up, whenever you’re logging into a new application, Motorola will prompt you to save password with Moto Key. You can also create a list of applications that you want to exclude from the list.
AI Camera
Motorola comes with a set of filters for selfie enthusiasts. These Snapchat-like face filters are very much similar to what Samsung offers on its Galaxy S8 and Note 8 smartphones.
Apart from AI face filters, it also comes with object recognition feature. Essentially, the camera can recognize contents in your image, and even serves a quick search results.
Other smart features of the Motorola camera include spot colour (which lets you pick singular color theme before shooting) and selective focus for DSLR-like shallow depth-of-field effects.
Improved display
Called Moto Display, users can respond to a notification right from their lock screen. Also, you can use voice commands to respond to these notifications, say an SMS.
Motorola also comes with Attentive Display functionality. This feature ensures your phone screen will not dim or sleep while you’re looking at it and holding it in your hands. When the phone notices that you’re not looking at it, it will go into sleep mode in order to save battery.
Gesture controls
Motorola also comes with a set of gesture-based features. For instance, to take a screenshot you need to swipe with three fingers on the screen. You can customize the fingerprint scanner on the front to use it as a navigation bar, similar to Lenovo’s ZUK series of phones. Some of the gesture-based controls of Motorola include twisting your wrist to launch the camera, and flip to activate DND mode.
Moto Voice
While Motorola comes with Google Assistant, it also comes with the company’s Moto Voice digital assistant. After having set up the voice support (via Moto tray > Moto Voice), you can ask the AI to provide information such as weather, calendar, events and more.

All the Motorola phones comes with stock Android in it ( Pure form of Android without much customization). This ensures guaranteed updates of the upcoming operating system. That’s why we see that moto phones are the one which receive the update after the Nexus phones. This is the biggest advantage they have over all the companies.

Build Quality
The build quality of the Motorola is visible just by looking at the handset. The device has not compromised on the look factor in spite of the robust appeal of it. The curved edges give it a great look and also enhance the ergonomic factor of the phone by giving a better grip to the user.The build quality they offer is better that the others at the same price point. Though they don’t make such stylish phones but I believe that the design they offer are decent.
Expandable Storage
The additional storage space through external micro SD card makes the phone a good deal. It already has a 16 GB of internal memory and the option of adding more space is always helpful to store all the music, images and video files.

The display is pretty good. It has 5-inch capacities IPS touchscreen with 16M colors. It has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and has a pixel density of 294 ppi. This gives great picture quality with amazing viewing angles. The screen is also protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass.
Sound Quality
The sound quality on the Motorola is amazing with its two front facing speakers. The presence of two speakers gives a good surround sound.
